Run your social media without an agency retainer.

Limeo gives a South African business the workspace an agency would use: one calendar for every channel, AI writing help that knows your brand, approvals, a shared inbox and reports. Your team stays in charge of the plan, the logins and the voice.

When an agency still makes sense.

Agencies earn their fee on work that needs a crew: a product launch with a shoot, a paid campaign across several markets, or a brand with nobody inside who can own social media. If that is you, keep the agency and give them a Limeo workspace, so the plan and the approvals stay visible to you.

When to bring it in-house.

When most posts are everyday updates, when replies to customers need someone who knows the business, or when every change goes through a request and a wait. A small team with a shared calendar and a clear approver can usually move faster than a monthly round of revisions.

Moving over in a week.

A simple plan for taking social media back from an agency.

  1. Day oneGet admin access to every account back from your agency.
  2. Day twoConnect the channels and write your brand notes in Brand Brain.
  3. The rest of the weekPlan the month, name an approver and schedule the first posts.

Before you switch.

Still deciding? Talk to the team.

Is Limeo a social media agency?

No. Limeo is software your own team uses to plan, write, approve, publish and reply. We don’t write or post content for you. If you want outside help, you can invite an agency or freelancer into your workspace.

Who writes the posts if we leave our agency?

Your team does, with AI writing help that follows the brand notes you give it: your audience, your tone, the facts you’re sure of and the words you never use. Every draft is reviewed by a person before it is scheduled.

Can we keep our agency and use Limeo?

Yes. Many teams keep an agency for campaigns and shoots and run the everyday posting themselves. Give the agency access to one brand workspace and approve their drafts in the same place as your own.

What do we need before we switch?

Admin access to each social account, your brand notes, a month of planned topics and one person who can approve posts. Ask your agency to hand over account access and the content calendar before the retainer ends.

How much does it cost compared with a retainer?

Limeo plans start at R299 a month for one person, and Pro for a team of five is R1,299 a month. Small-business social media retainers in South Africa are commonly quoted from about R6,000 to R20,000 a month before ad spend. Compare that with your current retainer and the hours your team will spend.
